Dr. Joel Tikalsky brings a passion for science to his mission of providing expert podiatry at Family Foot & Ankle Clinic LLC. As a podiatrist who hails from Weston, Wisconsin, Dr. Tikalsky offers the respect and care of a hometown doctor while helping patients manage foot and ankle problems of every kind.

From routine foot care, such as removing ingrown toenails and treating fungal infections, to more advanced foot and ankle surgeries using the latest laparoscopic techniques, Dr. Tikalsky ensures that his patients move as freely as possible in the world.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse in 1998, Dr. Tikalsky graduated from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine/Chicago Medical School in 2003.

He then went on to complete his surgical residency at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois, and associated hospitals. Dr. Tikalsky’s training placed special emphasis on advanced wound care, diabetic care, and advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Tikalsky is certified in podiatric surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and he’s currently on staff at six area hospitals. To stay on top of the latest developments in podiatry, Dr. Tikalsky routinely attends continuing education conferences.

When he’s not caring for his Weston patients, Dr. Tikalsky enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors in his native Wisconsin.
